City Texture Pack Not Working

When attempting to use the city texture pack —released by Minecraft — the world will not load. For some reason this older texture pack does not work anymore since an update last year. While previous updates provided an update to the texture pack, the latest updates have rendered this pack unusable. I’ve restarted the app and redownloaded the pack, yet it still does not work.
