Character Creator skin does not display in game, on loading screen or in Dressing Room

I had previously used Character Creator Dressing Room to make my character skin. It would work at times and then stop working for a while. I assumed updates were causing the issue. A few months ago my skin reappeared and all seemed well. Recently, the skin reverted to Steve and my character skin disappeared completely.

• The skin doesn't appear when I log in to my Microsoft account.

• While Minecraft is loading a random character skin will appear only to be replaced by Steve when I log in to my Microsoft account.

• The character skin doesn't appear in game while playing, either single player or on Realms - only Steve.

• The character skin doesn't appear in my inventory screen - only Steve.

• When using the Dressing Room, only Steve appears and I cannot change any aspect of the skin - if I select something, Steve will react as if he's looking at the new thing, but nothing actually changes.

• The items I have selected are still highlighted in the selection area. If I exit the Dressing Room and then return, my selections remain highlighted.
