Summary:
Top or bottom faces of blocks in caves frequently fail to render, creating horizontal lines when exploring caves. Please note that this is different from MCPE-229027, as the Anti-Aliasing setting does not impact these lines, and changing the time of day alters the color of these lines, confirming that the issue is caused by missing or unrendered block faces. These lines are also visibly thicker. This bug had not always been present, however, I am unsure of which Minecraft update introduced it.
Steps to Reproduce:
Use the following seed:
1558083136Teleport to the following coordinates:
/tp 4639 -2 -2102 facing 4600 -3 -2075Jump repeatedly.
Change the time of day using
/time set dayor/time set midnightto see how the color of the lines changes.
Observed Results:
The top or bottom faces of certain blocks in caves will randomly but frequently fail to render, producing visible horizontal lines. Changing the time of day alters the color of these lines, confirming that the issue is caused by missing or unrendered block faces rather than graphical artifacts.
When combined with MCPE-229027, cave exploration becomes very visually distracting due to constant flickering and flashing lines appearing throughout the caves.
Expected Results:
All block faces should render consistently, and no horizontal lines should appear when exploring caves or moving the player camera.

Fellow player and just wanted to comment and say that was a nice catch. (I used to do QA assurance on videogames) I could be mistaken but, I bet it has something to do with the changes to lighting systems with the intro of vibrant visuals.
just out of curiosity have you tried to reproduce this with vibrant visuals turned off?
