•I had been building on world for hours perfectly fine, 1st time I left my render distance of the flat space I made to build my mega build on. Came back and LARGE chunk of just the first layer of dirt was gone. I had built over several empty gaps so had to replace asap. Didn’t touch my build even though it was technically hanging over the affected area.
•2nd time, have both photo and video. I loaded into same world same spot. Nothing was wrong. Started grabbing things from chest and grabbed happy ghast, you see me lag HARD when I look at my ghast (In the beginning of the video off to the left, you can see the grass is there! But there is a chunk of lighter area which looks to be the exact area that disappeared maybe? I don’t know) Turn around and a much smaller portion has disappeared this time. Same as last, as it’s only the top layer. I stare at it for a while as I was raging as it happened AGAIN. And I once again, have to waste my materials to patch a hole of blocks that just magically disappear.
I don’t know how to recreate this. As they were both different. One was leaving and reloading the chunks, the other was me being in the already loaded chunks unaffected, and then a lag spike disappears the blocks.
They were different sizes too. But both JUST top layer of dirt gone. First time was huge.
This is my survival, unmodded, no cheats on world. So don’t know how this could have happened as it is vanilla.
