GDK - Minimizing the game while loading a world and restoring it afterwards locks the mouse cursor to the top left corner of the screen when the game window is unmaximized

Summary:

In the GDK version of Minecraft Preview, minimizing the game while a world is loading causes the window to not restore properly, but only when the game window is unmaximized.

Please note: A video demonstrating the issue cannot be provided, as recording the desktop prevents it from occurring.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open Minecraft Preview.

  2. Switch the game to Windowed mode.

  3. Ensure the game window is unmaximized.

    • You can do this by checking the appearance of the square button in the top-right corner:

      • When maximized, it shows a single square.

      • When unmaximized, it shows a single square and a partial square.

  4. Open a world.

  5. While the world is loading, minimize the game window by clicking its icon on the taskbar or the button in the top-right corner.

  6. Wait several seconds to ensure the world has finished loading.

  7. Restore the game window by clicking its icon on the taskbar.

Observed Results:
When the game window is restored, the window does not appear. Instead, the mouse cursor snaps to the top-left corner of the screen and locks there. To unlock the cursor, left-click or right-click must be pressed. After restoring cursor movement, clicking the game’s taskbar icon again properly restores the window.

Expected Results:
The game window should restore properly after being minimized while loading a world, even when unmaximized.
