Missing Minecraft files but is still their but separate

So basically my Minecraft restarted out of nowhere and it was reloading Minecraft but now on windows edition. Then soon after I lost all my created mods and skins that I have made. But when I checked the files they were still there but weren’t in Minecraft but in a different Minecraft completely. So now I think that I have 2 Minecraft’s since when I run the locater to find the Minecraft worlds folder it was not found but behavior, resource, etc were found except for worlds and there’s 2 copies of the com.monjag file with them both being seprarate. After I found the folder with the new restarted Minecraft it has no files at all except a file and a DAT file meanwhile the other one has all the mods and resources I made and downloaded. And when Minecraft is loaded it has a missing icon and a red border around the Minecraft application .If it was the update that caused this is there anyway for me to fix this and retrieve my worlds back?
