Lunge-spear. 7 Times to go faster. My hunger goes away for one and a half

I have detected a bug regarding the spear. I put the lunge enchantment on the spear to go faster, I hit it to go faster 7 times, then my hunger goes away for one and a half. Please fix this bug.
