After the bedrock update, the screen on minecraft below is just black like i cant acces it

Aftter updating minecraft, the screen below has been bugging and its also been lagging a bit, the screen below is black and its making it smaller to play with, i tried restarting the device and restarting minecraft but i cant take it off
