Black bar appears at the bottom of the screen when launching the game in fullscreen mode with Anti-Aliasing set to 1

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open Minecraft Preview

  2. Press F11 to put the game in fullscreen mode

  3. Go to Settings > Video and set Graphics Mode to Simple, Fancy, or Vibrant Visuals, and set Anti-Aliasing to 1

  4. Close and reopen the game

Observed Results:

When using Simple or Fancy graphics, a horizontal black bar appears at the bottom of the screen at all times. Switching to windowed mode and back to fullscreen mode removes the black bar.

When using Vibrant Visuals, the black bar only appears briefly during the loading screen.

Expected Results:

No black bar should appear.

In a recent preview a fix was made that causes the window to ignore the black bar when scaling the UI, but the black bar still exists in the latest preview (1.21.130.26).

@EmeraldKing Could you provide steps to reproduce this in 1.21.130.26?

It’s not just in AA: 1 either, it happens in all AA modes

This issue is still present in the latest release, 1.21.124.

When launching the game, it automatically starts in fullscreen (expected), but a black bar appears in the pause menu. A temporary workaround is pressing F11 twice to toggle fullscreen, which removes the black bar until the next launch.

Just confirming this is still reproducible on the current version.

I am aware of that. I was asking for repro steps in the latest Preview, not the latest release.
