Steps to reproduce the issue:
Launch Minecraft Bedrock Edition after the latest update.
Try playing normally for a few minutes.
Observe system performance.
Expected result: Minecraft should run smoothly, and the operating system should remain responsive.
Actual result: After a few minutes of gameplay, the entire operating system becomes extremely sluggish, including Minecraft itself, which drops to around 3 FPS.
Interestingly, RAM, CPU, and GPU usage remain normal—no spikes are detected.
Troubleshooting steps taken:
Removed all texture packs.
Ran the game as administrator.
Ran the game via double-click as usual.
Restarted the computer.
Launched the game from the Minecraft Launcher.
Launched the game directly without the launcher.
None of these actions resolved the issue.

I have the same thing, prior to update the game was running smoothly, and I’ve got a gaming laptop with the 13th gen of I5 and RTX 3050ti, the game becomes very sluggish and laggy when I enter any world on bedrock, even when I leave the world minecraft’s menu becomes laggy as well. Another thing i’ve noticed is that when I leave the game I can still hear the sound of minecraft’s main menu for like a minute or so, it did not happen prior to update.
I got the game playable again by turning off the “Improved Input Response” toggle under the Video settings. There is still a bug that needs fixing.

that is not the case, I have Improved Input Response disabled but my minecraft has a very severe slowdown after the update..
Please attach a screenshot of the Minecraft process in Task Manager when the system slowdown is occurring.
