A Brown Panda on my hardcore bedrock edition world will not be transported into the over world, even though I was able to get it into the nether

I was Transporting a Named Brown Panda (the panda’s name is “Natural” Brownie The Panda”, I named him this because it was a naturally spawned brown panda) to my base through the nether when I reached my portal, and the panda wont get teleport-ed to the over world, even with the panda literally INSIDE of the portal blocks.

I've tried loading the over world side to no avail, I tried logging in and out, I've tried moving the portals, I even tried turning my switch off and back on after closing the game and still, nothing seems to work.

There are no add-ons that should affect this because I only have a dark mode mod, and a ambient sounds mod active, which has nothing to do with the issue at hand
