An unusual amount of RAM has been frequently utilized by the app since I’ve started playing minecraft again last week. I’m not sure what caused this, but I think it may be the result of the recent update, as I have not experienced anything like this before. If my research is correct, Vanilla Minecraft (bedrock) should only use about 2-4 gigs of RAM. When I play Vanilla Minecraft (Bedrock) with zero mods--or any of the liking--installed, my Minecraft uses a whopping 10 gigs of RAM, leaving a measly 6 gigs for the rest of my computer. This resulted in constant screen freezes for both Minecraft and my computer. It seems that when I open a world, the amount of ram being used by Minecraft quickly climbs before capping at around 10 gigs.
I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, which worked initially. However, the leak came back when I turned off the game and played it again a few hours later.

I have the same issue. Memory usage climbs at a rate of about 1GB every 3 seconds, going up 50GB, after I join a world. Turning off “Improved Input Response,” as outlined by, and restarting the game fixes the issue.
Turning back on “Improved Input Response” while in a world did not cause the issue to come back. However, after restarting the game with the setting enabled again, the issue returned.
I got the game playable again by turning off the “Improved Input Response” toggle under the Video settings. There is still a bug that needs fixing.
