cannot sign in properly windows 10/11 bedrock after deleting it and reinstalling because it wouldn't update. error code : drowned

windows 10/11. this started when i couldn't update my bedrock application to the newest version, despite trying multiple times to find where to update it. i then decided to delete and reinstall hoping it would automatically download the newest version. after deleting and reinstalling .i logged into the launcher, opened bedrock and tried to sign in after already signing into the launcher. it said there was an error with login, clicked “learn more” and followed the steps 4 times. could not log in still. tried re installing the launcher and the bedrock version. still didn't work, java seems to have logged in fine. 1 thing i did notice was every time i came out of the launcher and went back in, it made me resign in with my saved credentials. this has never happened whilst opening the launcher. i have been trying different things for around 4 and a half hours - i have tried everything recommended multiple times as well as ensuring my pc has enough storage. please let me know if it gets fixed and what to do, considering i paid almost 40$ for this application this is upsetting to see not working, and there is not much else i can do now.
