Mouse clicks no longer register after a crash

Ok, so I was playing Minecraft for Windows, on my friend's realm, having a bit of server lag when it crashed and closed. Upon reopening, my mouse doesn’t work anymore. I can move it around and navigate the game menu with the arrow keys or touch screen, but my laptop trackpad and Bluetooth mouse, anything that controls the cursor really, don't seem to register in the game. I can see the cursor, but hovering it over buttons doesn't indicate anything, and clicking does nothing. The mouse works perfectly fine for everything else on the computer. Minecraft is the only thing doing this, and it's only Minecraft for Windows. The launcher works fine. It might also be worth noting that my desktop shortcut for Minecraft on Windows completely broke and stopped working after the crash. It changed to a blank file image and wouldn’t open anything. All my imported classic skins also vanished and changed to Minecraft's character creator skins in the dressing room. I have deleted and redownloaded Minecraft numerous times, reset the app data, restarted my laptop, changed mouse settings, and everything else I can think of. Nothing works
