Error code: Drowned

I have been experiencing the “Drowned” error code for several days now when trying to sign in with my Microsoft account on the Minecraft Launcher for PC.

The message says:

“We couldn’t sign you in to your Microsoft account. Access to Realms, profiles, and Marketplace items is limited. Please try again later.”
Error Code: Drowned

This issue started right after the latest Minecraft update.
I have already tried all common troubleshooting steps, including:

  • Restarting the game and my PC

  • Reinstalling Minecraft

  • Checking my internet connection

  • Signing out and back into my Microsoft and Xbox accounts

  • Clearing cache and old credentials

  • Reinstalling Gaming Services via PowerShell

  • Updating Microsoft Store, Xbox app, and all related services

Despite all of this, I still cannot log in. Could you please look into this or let me know if there’s an issue with the new update or with account authentication on PC?
