Xbox Controller no longer working

Worked in the previous version.

Xbox controller allows to select menu items in first menu layer after launching Bedrock. No further action (e.g. clicking on something) possible.

Opening a sub-menu by mouse/keyboard renders the Xbox Wireless controller obsolete. Nothing works or causes a reaction.

Going back to the top level menu, it can at least move the selection again.

2 Windows 11 devices with Xbox Wireless Controllers affected. Both have children accounts with parental control, worked seamlessly before.

Read on Reddit that others have the same issue with this version with controllers from other vendors, too.
