Mouse Cursor Can Leave Screen While Playing

When playing Minecraft in a world and moving the camera around, the mouse cursor is able to leave the game window. This results in unintentional pauses when clicking, especially with dual monitors or in windowed mode.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open any world or server, with the game in windowed mode.

  2. Move the mouse downward repeatedly.

  3. Notice the mouse cursor appears outside the game window.

  4. Click with left or right button.

Expected Result:

The mouse cursor will never leave the game window unless a UI is open.

Actual Result:

The mouse cursor leaves the game window, and will pause the game if clicked.

It also does the same thing if you’re in fullscreen. If you’re in fullscreen with a second display set to extend the displays then you can also see the mouse appear on the second display, and as mentioned in this bug report, clicking will pause the game. The main thing to note is that the it only happens to the part of the screen leading to the second display, the edges of the main monitor will not cause the game to pause if clicking.
