When player is 4 blocks away from the mob, player cannot use a spear to kill it but can use a sword.
It’s too outrageous. In fact, a spear is longer than a sword. So what a long distance! The attack distance of the spear shound be farther than the sword!
I hope that Mojang can fix the problem in the next version yet. It’s the best behavior for players that Mojang can fix it and more serious bugs promptly.

Yes, this is inconsistent with the Java version's settings. The spear's attack range should actually be 4.5 blocks. Mojang's change greatly reduces its usefulness.
