Redstone torches always render their alpha channel at full opacity with ray tracing [RTX]

Description:
As the title suggests, redstone torches now incorrectly render their alpha channel at full opacity at all times. This causes redstone torches to display incorrectly when ray tracing is enabled, as their textures no longer render as intended.

Impact:
This issue affects all resource packs.

Details:
The redstone torch’s geometry uses a cross-shaped model that is two texels wider than other torch models to allow the tip to include pixels that extend outward. This worked fine until the recent 1.21.120 updates. In these versions, the alpha channel now renders at full opacity, exposing the entire cross shaped model shape and breaking immersion.

Reproduction Example:
In the attached example image, the redstone torch’s alpha channel has been filled with a bright red color to demonstrate the issue.
By default, the alpha channel is black. When using an empty RTX-capable resource pack (such as Empty-RT-Capable-RP.mcpack), the torch should appear black due to this default black alpha channel, but instead, it now renders fully opaque despite the texture’s sides being at zero opacity.

Misc:
This was likely a side effect of texture culling updates intended for Vibrant Visuals?
