Improved Input Response cannot be disabled on Windows 11 → excessive RAM usage (memory leak)

am using Minecraft Bedrock Edition version 1.21.121 on Windows 11.
I enabled the Improved Input Response option in the Video settings. After enabling it, I cannot disable it: the toggle is greyed out and unclickable.

This causes a serious problem: the game starts consuming RAM excessively (memory leak). RAM usage keeps increasing while playing, causing severe lag, freezes, and FPS drops.

Observed Behavior:

  • Initial RAM usage is normal → 1–2 GB

  • After a few minutes of gameplay → RAM increases beyond 10–15 GB

  • The game lags and can eventually freeze the PC

  • The issue occurs even without shaders, texture packs, or add-ons

Expected Behavior:

  • Improved Input Response toggle should be disablable

  • RAM usage should remain stable, without continuous increase during gameplay

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.121 on Windows 11

  2. Enable Improved Input Response

  3. Enter any world (even empty)

  4. Observe that the toggle cannot be disabled and RAM usage grows rapidly

Platform:

  • Windows 11

  • Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.21.121

  • No add-ons or shaders active

  • PC with sufficient RAM (e.g., 16 GB)

Request:

  • Make the Improved Input Response option disablable on Windows 11

  • Fix the memory leak caused by this option
