Sometimes when playing on battery my PC will randomly shut off/crash when normally playing the game. My device is the ASUS ROG Flow z13 2023.

The game might be drawing more power than your laptop battery can supply, causing it to shut down. Try lowering all video settings to their minimum values and see if the issue still occurs.
could be. weird thing is i’ve played Minecraft bedrock on this device for over a year now and it only just started

Have you tried reinstalling launcher and Minecraft Game? (Remember to create a backup files)
