Using commands to give you/other players the Health Boost effect, combined with Regeneration with an infinite duration, results in very fast health regeneration, that does not reflect the base level of the regeneration effect.
Sorry for how complicated and niche this is, but I discovered it and thought it’s worth reporting.
How to recreate:
/effect @s health_boost infinite 10 (it can be any level, doesn’t really matter, but 10 is good to get a good visual of the issue).
/effect @s regeneration infinite 1
You’ll notice that the rate you regenerate health is extremely fast as opposed to how slow regeneration 1 usually is.
This issue does not occur when you give the regeneration a timer, (example: 999999 seconds), where it regenerates at the correct rate otherwise.
Pretty interesting, not expecting this one to be high up on the priority list, but there it is.
