Mouse unresponsive since 1.21.120

Issue:

Mouse has not worked since GDK update. (I know there’s a very known issue where mouse snapping is having issues, and I think this may have a similar root cause, but the behavior is different, so made a new ticket just in case.) Happens for both my significant other (different mouse) and myself on similar windows builds. Only difference is the tier Ryzen processor of the same generation, same GPU series, 3060 12Gb.

Mouse works with other GDK titles from the Xbox app and anywhere else in the system.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Launch Minecraft for Windows (any GDK version)

2. Observe mouse doesn’t register in game. (in title screen, paper doll doesn’t follow cursor, no buttons are clickable.)

3. Try any other input device. They work fine. (controller, keyboard)

Observed behavior:

• In-game mouse input does not work

• All other devices interact with the game normally.

• Issue persists after reinstalling Minecraft, Gaming Services, reinstalling mouse drivers, running the input redist found in the XboxGames\{title}\content\installers directory

• Issue occurs regardless of controller connection or Overlay software

Expected behavior:

• All mouse inputs should work correctly
