I placed alot of copper golems in survival, no command enabled, like asked in the conditions of earning the copper cape. It’s been a month, and I still haven’t received it neither in bedrock or in java. I’ve already had a problem like this for the founder cape, I still have it on java but not in bedrock after a couple of years now. I wonder if there is a problem with my account or just the minecraft cape system. I would like to get these capes, or even 1/2 is okay. I hope someone can send them to my accounts.

My java edition gamertag ; [redacted]
I also want to mention that both of these accounts are on the same microsoft account, it’s just the “in game” username being different.
Thank you in advance

Why are people not getting the cape? I have a theory. I normally have automatic updates paused due to the high number of bugs being reported - especially because people lose all their worlds. I believe it’s possible that it was important to be running the most recent version of Minecraft during the promotion. I don’t know if mine was up to date or not, but there was nothing in the T&Cs that say which version of Minecraft you have to use. So I should be eligible as I followed all the instructions. If it had said that you have to use Version XYZ then I could have checked and updated. That’s my theory. Can anyone from Mojang confirm this please?
Dear Minecraft
I have also not gotten the copper cape after going into creative and survival and breaking and placing that same golem down multiple times within the time limit in two different worlds. My request is simple, you give me the copper cape. I have fulfilled your requirements, I have jumped through all of the hoops, and I would like you to fulfil your promise to give me the copper cape. What will you lose if you give me the cape that I rightly earned? Why will you not give the cape to Ryan Venet and Steve? Why are you being such a pain?
My Minecraft Bedrock Gamertag is: [redacted]
Please send the cape to me.
-Sincerely, a concerned player

I have been in contact with support since 11 November and it is not an account issue. I believe this is potentially a “version issue”, as stated above, and therefore I personally consider it may be a bug.
Where do we turn if it is not a bug and not an account issue and support cannot offer further help?
Support reviewed my account and all my evidence and declined my case without commenting on WHY it was rejected. I know that I did the quest right. Other people are saying they did it right. Support know something and won’t comment on it.
On the basis that my support request already looked into my account and closed the case I’d be most grateful if you could offer an alternative.
Thank you in advance.
If support doesn’t consider you eligible for the cape, then unfortunately there’s nothing that can be done. I’ve seen this thing happen with multiple cape events. A user does what is required to receive a cape, doesn’t receive it, contacts support, support declines their case, and the user never receives the cape.
I actually experienced this myself with the Vanilla cape. Despite meeting the requirements for the cape, I never received it, and when I contacted support, they also told me that I was not eligible for the cape.
Hello! I’ve just finished talking to Minecraft Support about the Copper Cape issue. I provided direct evidence that I completed the copper cape challenge (see attached screenshot including date that the file was saved). Unfortunately, after a ‘specialist’ looked into my case I was told that I was ineligible for the cape - despite doing exactly what we were told to do. I did this in creative: place 4 golems, break them, pick them up and place them again. Of course, you only need to pick and place 1 golem. I took a screenshot as I knew that Bedrock was pretty buggy and things often go wrong. I waited, like you did and contacted support to see what was happening. I believe there is a reason for some people not getting copper capes…
