[MCPE-232236] LAN games not showing up on playstation

I’ve been trying to host a local server to join on my PS4 with my kid. And in the help section you are supposed to see a “network” button in the “worlds” tab. There isn’t one visible in either the PC bedrock or the playstation bedrock. However I’m able to join the server by the local ip address just fine.

I recall doing this a few years ago, and then there was no issue what so ever. Is there something I’m missing or has this service been removed all together. If thats the case the how to host a local network server should be updated with that playstation is not supported anymore.

Thank you in advance,

And hope you have a solution for my problem.

Regards

Lars

Do you have an active PlayStation Plus membership? The game requires one for LAN play.

Yes, I have a active PlayStation Plus membership.

But not on the specified user. I can try on the Plus membership user and check.

There should be a way to play it without PS Plus!

I have 5 kids, I won't play for 7 PS Plus memberships! It makes no sense. We played LAN for years, now it doesn't work on consoles.
