Severe Camera Movement Stuttering/Input Lag on PC Bedrock (v1.21.124) - High FPS, corrupts Xbox Game Bar recordings, unlike Java Edition.

Hello Mojang Support Team,

Thank you for your attention to this ongoing issue. Here is a detailed report regarding severe performance problems with the Windows 11 Bedrock client.

Report Title: Severe Camera/Mouse Input Stuttering on PC Bedrock Edition (Affects Gameplay & Corrupts Recordings)

Affects Version: 1.21.124

Category: Technical Performance / Input Handling

Description:

I am experiencing severe camera movement stuttering/choppiness when playing Minecraft Bedrock Edition on PC. The game reports high FPS (e.g., 60-75+ FPS), but moving the camera horizontally or vertically results in a choppy visual stutter that feels like 10-20 FPS. The stuttering is worse with higher sensitivity and happens roughly every 5 seconds.

Here are the crucial details:

  • This issue only occurs in Bedrock Edition; the Java Edition runs perfectly smoothly on the same system configuration.

  • This problem has persisted since the first installation of Minecraft on this PC, surviving game uninstallation/reinstallation and a full PC reset.

  • The live in-game visual issue is a consistent choppiness during fast camera moves. When I watch the saved recorded video file (using Xbox Game Bar), the footage exhibits severe visual glitches, artifacting, and major stuttering that is significantly worse than the live experience. This points to a core issue with how the Bedrock client handles frame pacing or display output, which disrupts video encoders.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Launch Minecraft Bedrock Edition on a Windows PC.

  2. Enter any world (Singleplayer or Multiplayer).

  3. Move the mouse/camera around quickly and continuously (panning side to side).

  4. Record this gameplay using Xbox Game Bar.

Expected Result:

The game should display smooth, consistent camera movement that matches the high frame rate, and the recording should play back smoothly.

Actual Result:

The in-game camera movement is choppy and inconsistent, and the saved video file is severely corrupted with major visual hitches and glitches, making the footage unusable in Media Player.

System Information:

  • Operating System: Windows 11

  • CPU: AMD Athlon 3000G with Radeon Vega Graphics (3.50 GHz)

  • GPU: 2GB AMD Radeon(TM) Vega 3 Graphics

  • RAM: 8.00 GB (5.94 GB usable)

  • Monitor Refresh Rate: 75Hz (highest setting)

  • Recording Software Used: Xbox Game Bar

  • Video Player Used: Media Player

Troubleshooting Steps Already Taken (Issue Persists):

  • Disabled "Improved Input Response" in Video settings.

  • Ensured graphics drivers are fully updated via AMD Adrenalin software.

  • Performed multiple uninstalls/reinstalls of the game.
