Mouse pointer does not disappear

I play Minecraft on my iPad 11 with iPadOS 26.1, which is the latest version. Minecraft is also on the latest version, 1.21.124. Since iPadOS 26 also improves support for mouse and keyboard, and Minecraft on the iPad also natively supports mouse and keyboard, I would really like to play with them. However, I keep having a problem with the mouse pointer. It always hides correctly when I start playing, but after opening the inventory or pause menu a few times, the mouse pointer no longer hides and I can no longer look around in the game. I can then open the pause menu again, but even there I can no longer click on buttons with the mouse (nothing happens when I click). I can't even use touch mode or a Bluetooth controller anymore. Both only work again after restarting the game. However, I firmly believe that this problem stems from Minecraft and not from iPadOS, as everything works fine in other games and also in Minecraft at the beginning.
