I stop going forward, but then my player keeps moving. I’ve tried changing my settings but nothing happens

I’ve had this problem on the Windows PC version back in the 1.21.121 update but recently, I haven’t had any issues. However, I do know the joysticks on controllers can get stuck and cause this issue. In which you need to pull them up to fix it. (It can also cause drifting.) However, if it’s not your controller, it could be the same problem on the PC versions. Java edition is also having the same issue recently.
