minecraft://?addExternalServer links are no longer functional since the switch to GDK, likely due to link parsing being broken. What does work is wrapping the link in quotes (ex: minecraft://?addExternalServer="server|example.com:19132"), but that only works when launching with start from command prompt, as browsers encode the quotes. This also affects other uris with special characters.
How to reproduce:
Go to
minecraft://?addExternalServer=Divinity|divinitymc.org:19132on windowsAllow it to open Minecraft
Go to the servers list
Observed results:
The server is not added.
Expected results:
The server should be added.
