In Minecraft Bedrock Edition, when riding a boat on ice (blue ice / packed ice), the game frequently experiences frame stuttering, micro-freezes, and noticeable input delay.
These issues make it extremely difficult to perform precise control, especially in gameplay where accurate maneuvering is required (such as racing-style mini-games).
This problem does not seem to be caused by addons, resource packs, or performance settings.
Even on stable FPS and low-lag environments, the ice-boat movement still feels delayed or skips frames.
Expected Behavior:
Smooth boat movement with responsive input when riding on ice.
Actual Behavior:
Frequent frame skips while riding a boat on ice
Input delay (turning or steering reacts late)
Sudden micro-freezes during high-speed movement
Makes precision racing or competitive movement nearly impossible on Bedrock
Steps to Reproduce:
Place packed ice or blue ice in a straight or curved track
Ride a boat at high speed
Notice stuttering and delayed input during turns or corrections
