After the new update the inventories of our characters were deleted and so were the end chest. We were not able to recover the inventory

It was in survival mode, no add ons. And yes, it was split screen and it was the second and third person. We tried logging back in but that did not solve the problem

If additional players log in from a separate device it might work.
Are you playing in split-screen mode and if so does this only happen to the second, third, etc players?
If not, then this report does not have enough information for us to understand and reproduce the problem.
