Importing Texture packs in the new update is impossible

Trying to import a texture pack in the game in any way is not possible / will not work, I have also tried running the Windows + R key combination to run %appdata% in order to access my save folders in com.mojang. I selected a save folder, dragged the texture pack in the resource pack folder and it still didn’t show up in game.

Steps to reproduce issue:
- Get any texture pack
- Import texture pack

Expected Result:
- Texture pack is successfully imported

Actual Result:
- Texture pack is not imported

Also, if you're just moving the .mcpack file to the resource packs folder, that is not the correct way to do it. You need to use a program like 7-Zip to open the .mcpack file as an archive and then move the files inside to an empty folder in the resource packs folder.
