After the Mountain of Mayhem update in Minecraft Bedrock Edition, there is a noticeable general input delay of around 0.5 seconds when controlling all rideable mobs.
The delay affects all control actions, including turning, jumping, stopping, and accelerating. Inputs do not register instantly and instead respond slightly after being pressed.
For example, when jumping while riding a horse, the jump happens about half a second after the input. The same delay is noticeable when changing direction or stopping movement.
This makes riding feel laggy and unresponsive compared to versions before the update and negatively impacts gameplay across all rideable entities.
