Subject: Touch controls and camera behavior on Minecraft Bedrock Mobile

Hello Minecraft team,

I’d like to share an issue I’ve experienced while playing Minecraft Bedrock on mobile (Android) related to touch controls and camera movement.

When playing using more than two fingers on the screen (for example, a four-finger control style, which is very common in mobile games), the camera becomes unstable and hard to control. It often spins or moves unexpectedly during normal gameplay, especially in combat.

From what I can tell, this happens because every touch on the right side of the screen is treated as camera input, and the game doesn’t differentiate between fingers or their intended actions. As a result, multiple touches at the same time confuse the camera system.

I think this could be improved by adding an optional advanced touch control setting, such as:

Allowing camera movement to be controlled by only one finger

Or defining a specific area of the screen that exclusively controls the camera

While ignoring additional fingers for camera movement but still allowing actions like jumping, attacking, or using items

Many mobile games already support this kind of control logic, and it greatly improves precision and comfort when playing without a physical controller.

I believe this would significantly improve the mobile experience and make touch-only gameplay more enjoyable and accessible.
