I have been using NPCs a lot lately for an adventure map, and have been very frustrated by their strange nature. occasionally, out of the blue, if I am using a /dialogue open command in a NPC’s command terminal, the NPC that’s having its dialogue opened will inherit the commands of the NPC opening its dialogue. To me this is very strange, and if I have a whack load of commands in a NPC, I can lose it all in this way!
Steps to Reproduce:
-Summon 2 NPCs
-Add the /dialogue open command with a tag specified to one of the NPCs and activate button mode and give the button a name
-On the other NPC, add a few commands with button mode activated and give the NPC a tag with a /tag command (make sure this tag is the same one specified in the /dialogue command).
-After these steps are completed, you should now have a working dialogue open command, which opens the dialogue of another NPC when pressing a button on another NPCs dialogue.
-Watch the video for further explanation (Will be later today)
Expected Results:
-The /dialogue open command should work normally and successfully open the dialogue of another NPC for the specified player
Actual Results:
-When the /dialogue open command is activated, the command will occasionally work as expected, but there is also a chance that the NPC that is having its dialogue opened for a player will inherit both the commands and button names of the NPC that has the dialogue command in it
-Watch second video for further explanation (will also be posted later today)
