I have added some additional information to my report that will hopefully help you fix the problem. I will also make some videos later today for additional details.

Same thing happened to me on IPadOS 18.6, Minecraft version 1.21.101. Every time I load into my game every painting is gone without a trace.

The same thing happened to me when I was randomly using the pick block on an inverted daylight detector on 1.21.100! I also tried to experiment a little and I tried to use the /give command, but all I got was a syntax error. I also have a video.

I’m pretty sure this is the intended behaviour. Mojang already stated that the happy ghast eats snow balls, and that is why it is attracted to them.
