Mouse has a delay when placing and breaking blocks

The mouse has a delay when placing and breaking blocks in the new updates. I believe it's been happening since update 1.21.120.
I play the game's competitive mode, PVP, but after updating to this version I noticed this problem. I'm making 20 clicks to place blocks and only 4 blocks come out, the same thing happens when breaking blocks, this is horrible for someone who plays competitive. I downloaded a client that shows the CPS, and before I was making more than 20 clicks, now it's less than 10. I activated the "Improved Input Response" option, and it improved temporarily for a few minutes, but after it stops working, the game has horrible performance, the FPS starts dropping simply out of nowhere. In previous versions, like 1.21.114, it was completely normal, and besides not crashing, I didn't need to activate this same option.

Edit: In addition to the fact that sometimes when the option is disabled the game ignores some clicks, I have to press more than once for the action to happen.
