Player 2 not able to join properly in split screen (starting back with a random skin, no inventory and at spawn point everytime)

When we play in split screen, however we play, rather it’s in a realm or in local, player 1 as player 1 and player 2 as player 2, the second one to join the world doesn’t get his proper account logged in, like a temporary sub account and starts everytime at spawn point with no inventory, no experience and a new random skin.

We both have a Microsoft account logged in and connected to our PlayStation account and we’ve tried on the Xbox and got the exact same issue.
