Fps capped only at 60 on iPad Pro despite 120Hz display support

Minecraft Bedrock Edition on iPad Pro is capped at 60 FPS even on devices that support 120Hz display

Device used: iPad Pro (11-inch, 4th generation)
Display: 120Hz
Platform: iPadOS

The game appears locked to 60 fps regardless of performance, render distance, graphics settings, anything

Other games on the same device are able to use 120Hz without any issues. Minecraft runs smoothly but does not go over 60 fps, which causes laggy and choppy gameplay, especially on servers that has a lot of players in it.

Expected Result:
Minecraft should be able to run at up to 120 fps on supported iPad Pro devices.

Actual Result:
Fps remains capped at 60 at all times.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Launch Minecraft Bedrock Edition on an iPad Pro with a 120Hz display.

  2. Enter a world or server.

  3. Monitor FPS behavior (appears capped at 60 regardless of settings).
