Note3: This may not be completely accurate, but I am replicating it to the best of my abilities
Note4: Allow cheats
Note5: Don’t let the turtles die before you /kill
Type into chat, “/give @s stick 1 13” (If you wish, you can name the stick §gTest Wand to be more accurate. Apparently though, the name doesn’t seem to matter)
Place down a repeating command block facing up (requires redstone)
Place down a chain command block (always active) on top of the repeating command block
Type into the repeating command block “execute as @a[hasitem={item=stick, location=slot.weapon.mainhand, data=13}] run summon sea turtle ~-2 ~-1 ~”
Type into the chain command block “tag @e[type=turtle, x=~-2, y=~-2] add dt”
Place down a repeating command block (always active) 2–3 blocks away from the other setup
Type into the new command block “event entity @e[tag=dt] minecraft:entity_born”
Place a lever on the old repeating block and flip it on
Select your stick with a data value of 13, but only for a few ticks so you don’t crash your computer
Type into chat “/kill @e”
Expected:
All turtles would die and drop nothing
Actual:
All turtles died, but they dropped seagrass

Sorry for the video quality and inaccuracies
In the video, I (the person on top) am in creative. The other person on the bottom is in survival and was dead before filming. Probably doesn’t matter, but whatever.
Remember what I said about inaccuracies? There are a few. You don’t need both turtle-spawning repeating command blocks (the ones with levers in the video). Just remove the lower one. And the topmost chain command block? That one is unnecessary and completely nonfunctional, so you can remove that as well.
