I encountered this issue entering Dressing Room. My characters on my account would not load and when I tried to edit to recreate the characters, the options would let me click on them but would not give the option to equip and would not load on my character. I once waited about 8 minutes+ to see if my hair would change on a character and it is stuck trying to load it but never does.

Hello! So, I have tried to reinstall the game and the launcher about 3 times and restarting my pc in-between. I also tried going into Settings → Apps → Installed Apps → Minecraft for Windows → Advanced Options and clicking Repair and Reset for both the launcher and Minecraft for Windows. Issue still happens.
Turned off Razer Cortex and Nvidia overlays. It didn’t work.
I also switched from Ethernet to Wifi and back again and it still didn’t work.
When I click Dressing Room and then click Edit Character, all of the Featured Items and Marketplace Pass items I do not own can be previewed on my character. Any items I do actually own and have yet to download do the same thing. When I do have them downloaded, then I am able to equip said item on my character like I should normally. Normal default items will not equip except for these downloaded items. Only a few items like emotes will equip like normal.
I have additionally tried moving the files from my C drive Nvme SSD to a secondary storage device that is a 2.5” SATA SSD. It still didn’t work.
Even when activating Latest Preview it wouldn’t work.
Reverted Back to Latest Release. Still Didn’t work.

Have you tried reinstalling the launcher and the Minecraft game? (Remember to create backup files before doing so.)
Are you using any third-party software that might affect the game's performance, such as screen recorders or overlays?
Have you checked your network connection for stability issues that might affect online gameplay?
Does this issue occur only with specific items from the Dressing Room?
