Hello Mojang team,
I would like to report a bug related to importing local skins on Minecraft Bedrock (Android).
On my device, I cannot import any local skin PNG files. Minecraft always shows an error telling me to use PNG with sizes 64×64, 64×32, or 128×128, even though my files already meet all these requirements.
Details: – Device: Realme C30 (RAM 3 GB)
– Android version: 11
– Minecraft version: (1.21.132)
– Skin format: PNG
– Skin size tested: 64×64 (also tried 128×128)
Important notes: – The same skin works normally on my friend’s phone.
– Marketplace and internet connection are working fine.
– App permissions (storage/media) are enabled.
– I already tried clearing cache, restarting, logging out/in Microsoft account, and reinstalling Minecraft.
– I also tried exporting skins using Skinseed and Blockbench, but the issue persists.
Expected result: The local skin should import successfully.
Actual result: Minecraft always rejects the skin and shows the PNG/size requirement message, even when all requirements are already met.
This seems to be related to Realme C30 / Android 11 file access or a Bedrock compatibility issue.
