My sons ipad has been running minecraft for a year (Running ipad MYLF2X/A )
A few weeks ago it stopped working. It gets 1/3 through loading any world (new or old) and a few weird audio noises occur for 0.5 sec then it crashes to main screen.
Steps taken:
Uninstall, clean install
login without microsoft account
no textures already, but did a clean of all cache.
Updated ios
reset all ios conent and settings (havent done a total reset)
Nothing makes a difference still crashes.
There is a minecraft log in analytics every new time it crashes.

Could you please record a video of the issue and upload it?
Are you using any add-ons or resource packs? If so, could you provide a complete list of them?
Does the issue also occurs while playing in the offline mode?

Recording available here: I recorded on my iphone and uplaoded to drop box.
Fresh install.
No addons or packs (as far as i am aware and i ahve just shown on video.
Tested and same occurs in offline mode.
As a note, this i a 6year olds ipad and he just plays basic creative worlds. Used for 12 months no issues or anything. just started a few weeks back.
There's also a problem when recording the screen on a mobile phone with the internal audio; it causes the game to freeze.
