iPad GUI is tiny after update

After updating to 26.0 the GUI became small. None of the usual settings increases the size, although it can be decreased. The GUI is maxed at 0 and can not be increased further. Previously the UI would take a significant portion of the screen.

I have confirmed the issue exists on worlds with and without add ons enabled.

Multiple reddit users have also had the same issue https://www.reddit.com/r/minecraftbedrock/comments/1r1asrz/my_ui_is_so_small_after_the_update/

  • Steps to reproduce the issue

    • Install latest version of Bedrock on iPad

    • Observe UI shrinks on first launch

  • Expected result

    • UI Remains same as prior update

    • UI settings can increase scale

  • Actual result

    • UI is tiny

    • UI settings can not increase scale

I am playing on iPad with Minecraft Bedrock 26.0 (App Store). After update UI scale is much smaller than before and GUI scale doesn’t change it. I have tried Classic/Pocket UI and all scale settings β€” nothing fixes it. This bug makes the game very hard to play. Please fix. 😭

After updating to bedrock version 26 the games hi all turned tiny and I’ve tried everything including the pocket and classic ui and even the hui scale changer but the maximum it goes up to is 0
