When allays talk damage from suffocation or drowning they die way more quicker than they can regenerate there health
Actual result: the alley dies when it is suffocating.
steps to reproduce:
get a alley
Use a sticky piston to push the block
Wait for a short amount of time, you will notice that when you remove the block the allay won’t be there anymore.
While a small bug, this might affect some farms in your worlds if you haven’t tested it in v26.0
The issue is not just allays. Suffocation is doing 2 points of damage (1 full heart) instead of the single point of damage that would normally allow the allay’s regeneration to keep up. This seems to be impacting all mobs. Players now take this increased damage as well. It’s easy to test. simply go under water or drop some sand blocks on your head and watch your heath drop by a full heart at a time instead of the half heart it used to (and still does in java). This seems to affect everything, but it’s most impactful for players swimming and for those of us using suffocation on allays with silverfish farms. But players swimming is going to be a bigger overall issue.
