Open End Portal (with ender eyes still in place) looks invisible

After the Minecraft Bedrock v26.0 update I noticed that my end portal looks invisible/broken. The End Portal had already been open, with eyes of ender present and when jumping through the seemingly empty/broken portal, I am still transported to the end dimension however no matter what I do (restart my device, save and quit the game, then reboot, etc.) I can’t get the portal to look as it did. It just looks empty but it still looks like it has a smoking effect coming off of it.
