The game freezes and crashes when I switch to fullscreen mode.

The error happens every time I try to switch from windowed mode to fullscreen. It occurs both when changing the mode through the game settings and when pressing the F11 key. The bug started in version 1.21.120 and is still present in the newer versions (26.0).
The only way to run the game in fullscreen is:

1. Close the game.

2. Locate the " options.txt" file in the game files.

3. Open it and edit the "gfx_fullscreen:" parameter, changing the 0 at the end to 1.

4. The game launches in fullscreen without crashing.
