Since update to bedrock version 26.0 'text to speech for chat' no longer works in Accessibility settings. T to S works for Device Settings and UI, but not for Chat. I am on touch screen iPad and without the audio, I rarely know when there is chat.

I found a workaround for this. I turn off ‘text to speech for chat’, exit minecraft, then come back in and turn it on and it works. But I have to remember to turn if off every time.
