Minecraft bedrock edition on IPad GUI extremely tiny even at maximum accessibility size

I am visually impaired and the menu has been made so it is extremely tiny with no way to improve it other than make it even smaller, this prevents me from being able to play the game because I cannot even see what the items in my hotbar are like before let alone read the words. The image with the pandas is how it used to look, clearly bigger and much easier to read and use for comparison. Please fix this!
