Stick drift is occurring exclusively in Minecraft and in no other game, both left and right stick, including sometimes when pressing L2. There are no steps to reproduce the issue, it just happens. I’m using a standard PS5 controller. The expected result is no stick drift at all. The actual result is a frustrating amount of stick drift, disrupting game play constantly.

Whenever my sticks start to drift, it’s always Minecraft that shows it first. It’s your controller, not the game. I followed a youtube tutorial on how to clean your controller out to fix stick drift. I would recommend trying it. It’s not too difficult.
